How to add a table to Squarespace

Add a table to Squarespace without compromising the design.

The right method depends on whether your content is simple and static, or needs a flexible, responsive layout that matches the rest of your site.

Build a Table

Start with the simplest suitable option

For a small amount of basic information, native Squarespace blocks may be enough. For wider tables, availability schedules, branded layouts or better mobile behaviour, a Code Block gives you more control.

Use a Code Block for a responsive table

  1. Create and style your table in Square Tables.
  2. Open Export and copy the complete HTML and CSS.
  3. Add a Code Block in Squarespace, set it to HTML, then paste the code.

Check mobile before publishing

Preview the table at smaller widths first. Square Tables can either turn each row into a labelled card or keep the table horizontally scrollable.
